39 'YES' Volunteers took 1 Year Commitment.... |

Yesterday, Friday 26th October 2007, During the Holy Eucharist and amidst of relatives, friends, invitees and other Jesus Youth members, 39 JY Volunteers took commitment for 1 year at St. Mary's Church, Mini Hall. The commitment was taken after 5 months training program called 'YES' - Youth Empowering in Saviour (Jesus). This training continues to a 1 year formation with follow up and a life long commitment. During this period a local guardian will be helping the YES volunteer to grow in spiritual formation as disciple. Fr.Siby Puthiyadom, Fr.Varghese Chempoly and Fr.Freddy celebrated the Holy Mass and lead the commitment ceremony and anointing prayer. Service Team members from other emirates incluidng the National Team members were also present. More than 400 people attended the program and prayed for all the YES volunteers.
