Dubai & Sharjah Jesus Youth going for Picnic on Friday 15th |

Jesus Youth of Dubai and Sharjah will be going for their annual picnic on next Friday, 15th December 2006. Dubai JY is going to the Sharjah National Park. Sharjah targets Al Ain. Those who wish to participate are welcome. |

03 December 2006 Jesus Youth of UAE celebrated its 11th Annual Day at St.Francis of Asissi Church Jebel Ali, yesterday. Around 850 youth from 6 emirates participated in this full day program called - The River of Life. There were separate short time gatherings for Senior JY + JY Families & JY Fulltimers. The main input session was given by Alicekutty Chechi on the Call & Mission. The program was filled Music, Video & Audio Visual presentations, Choreography, Group sesssion, Eucharistic Adoration, Holy Mass & anointing prayer.It inspired everybody to renew their call and be mission oriented in their lives. There were around 21 Fulltimers for the full timers gathering & 70 members for the Senior/Family gathering. The program was concluded at 5:30 PM. |

25-August 2006 – was one of the spectacular day for Dubai Jesus Youth. More than 1100 youth gathered in St. Mary’s church-Dubai from different areas of Dubai, to attend the One Day convention of Jesus youth called “Thanal” Mathew 13:31-32 was the theme Word of God: “The kingdom of heaven is like this. A man takes a mustard seed and saws it in his field. It is a smallest of all seeds, but when it grows up, it is the biggest of all plants. It becomes a tree, so that birds come and make their nests in its branches.” Mobilization was concentrated in labour camps at different zones of Dubai. It was a wonderful experience for the Mobilization team and Outreach Ministry. This gave them an opportunity to enter into many labour camps and to start new prayer groups. |

Thoolika, the weekly newsletter of Dubai Jesus Youth released its 3rd Anniversary Special Issue during the Holy Mass between “Thanal” by giving a copy to Prejomy Jose, JY UAE National Coordinator by Fr. Joy, the Spiritual Director of Dubai Jesus Youth. Thoolika’s growth from a one side A4 size newsletter to 12 page booklet was highlighted by Fr.Joy during the ceremony. |
